Sounds of Nature: WOODLANDS of Europe

Nature sounds and ambiences, captured in quiet meadows, valleys, glades and open spots on hills in Europe.

In this library you will find nature sounds and ambiences, captured in quiet meadows, valleys, glades and open spots on hills across Central Europe, at different times of day and night. Everything sounds very airy and open and you can hear many different birds, grasshoppers, crickets, insects etc. All nature recordings are clear and completely free from external noise and other human disruptions. This is why this library will be especially useful for productions taking place in the past, like medieval and ancient times. As well as for historical and nature documentaries.

All of these nature ambiences are recorded using three different microphone set-ups. A Stereo set-up, a wide stereo set-up and a spaced omnis set-up, which also offers extended frequency response. This brings you 3 variations of each recording. Within these variations the differences are sometimes subtle and sometimes more extreme. These three perspectives can provide flexibility for crosscutting within scenes.
